Required skills:
This is a 1st shift position.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Requires a High School education or equivalent plus a minimum of four (4) years soldering and electronic assembly experience.
• Soldering inspection experience of printed circuit board assemblies, wiring assemblies and subassemblies to military specifications.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Works from specifications, drawings, process sheets, engineering change orders, and written and verbal instruction sheets to inspect components, subassemblies, and assemblies against required quality standards (proper component orientation, masking, soldering, coating, etc)
Job Description:
• Candidate will be required to pass a solder certification class
• Inspect printed circuit board assemblies, wiring assemblies and subassemblies to military specifications.
• Inspection of pc boards both thru-hole and surface mount using a microscope.
• Inspect processes such as soldered wires, formed and tined electronic components.
• Submission of assemblies to government inspectors.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Works from specifications, drawings, process sheets, engineering change orders, and written and verbal instruction sheets to inspect components, subassemblies, and assemblies against required quality standards (proper component orientation, masking, soldering, coating, etc)
• Utilizes a full range of complex precision tools and inspection techniques (optical setups) for evaluation for product compliance.
• Conduct process audits in all phases of MFG and INS (calibration, materials, and process sheets) to confirm processes are being accurately followed.
• Conducts more complex quality system audits as required.
• Prefer coordinate measuring machine (CMM) experience.
• Prefer knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
