Responsibilities and Requirements : Under minimal supervision, this centralized position manages the production and creative services for the University's lead generation and marketing efforts designed to promote and reinforce the University's position in providing exceptional education and training to a national working adult population.Knowledge, Skills and Ability:A thorough knowledge of business, marketing or advertising as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising or related field.Five to six years of progressively responsible experience in a marketing and/or business environment leading and/or managing the creative design of all national promotional materials and advertising campaigns, including the production of radio and television broadcast, print, direct mail, and interactive and collateral advertising.Must be able to demonstrate a high level of artistic and conceptual abilities to lead and oversee the production and creative services for the University's lead generation and marketing efforts, as described above.Must have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with central administration, campus, and department staff, as well as vendors and media personnel.Must possess the ability to convey a professional image and develop relationships with vendors, including printers, producers, recording studios, writers, designers, and letter shops, as described above.Must have a strong working knowledge of personal software packages to lead the development and implementation of internal and external promotional literature, direct mail, and advertisements for local and national campaigns, as described above.
