• 1+ years Production on-call experience
• Working Knowledge in Oracle RDBMS 10g/11g
• Working knowledge in Oracle EBS 11i, R12
• Working knowledge in Oracle fusion middleware 10g/11g
• Proficiency in Unix shell scripting
• SAN and load balancer familiarity is a plus

• OCP Certification is a plus but not required

Our client has two contract openings for Oracle DBA’s to support a large Federal contract.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform production on call DBA duties -24X7 rotation with a pager
• Monitor and resolve critical and warning alerts generated from Grid Control and FOGLIGHT
• RMAN backup and recovery in production, testing and development environments
• Administer EBS 11.5.10.2 RUP6 environments
• Implement and manage Oracle RDBMS 10g/11g
• Implement and manage Oracle Standby Databases
• Implement and manage 10gAS middle tier tech stacks J2EE, SOA, UCM, OBIEE/BI
• Implement and manage Oracle OID and SSO
• Implement and manage Oracle Grid Control
• Performance tuning in Oracle RDBMS, EBS, 10gAS tech stacks
• Implement and manage statistic collection jobs in Oracle RDBMS instances
• Troubleshoot and tuning Oracle EBS concurrent job requests and concurrent manager
• SQL tuning and troubleshoot any abnormal application response time latency
• Plan and manage database security
• Capacity planning
• Quarterly Oracle CPU review and implementation
• Plan and perform JDK/JRE upgrades within Oracle tech stacks
• Plan and perform Oracle tech stack upgrades and apply one-off patch or patchset
• Cloning Oracle tech stacks from production to testing and development environments
• Perform on call DBA duties in Integration Testing Environment during normal business hours
• Review different application release and repair operation build documents and implement in testing and production environments
• Plan and execute data migration processes
• Design and implement disaster recovery plans
• Provide technical expertise and work with applications development teams to ensure sound, logical database/data structure design and integration
• Utilize different tools for optimal performance AWR, ASH, ADDM, sql trace, tkprof, logmining, grid control, foglight, solaris unix tools and shell scripts
