Modernization Sales/Project Manager

Scope of responsibility Modernization sales and project management of large NI and/or MOD projects. Identify MOD sales opportunities through key customer contacts and industry information, sources for sale of Schindler products and services. All information associated with such sales shall be processed in completeness and timeliness so as to support Schindler and Customer requirements.
-Participate in Company/Region/District professional developmen programs to enhance working knowledge of Schindler products, services and procedures.
-Written and verbal communications skills, along with product application experience so as to coordinate complex negotiatioin, develop customer proposals and make effective presentaions.
-Meet and/or exceed assigned sales and customer objectives.
-Negotiate contract terms favorable to Schindler.
- Establish favorable client relationships.
- Prepare estimates for the sale of Schindler products and services.
-Assist architects, building owners and / or developers with application of Schindler products through layout and specifications.
-Prepare and maintain required customer information and files in accordance with established procedures.
-Source, analyze communicate and apply competitive data for competitive advantage to Schindler.
- Communicate to both customer and internal operations the necessary information so as to asssure customer satisfaction and meet sales cost objective.
-Accounts receivable management for assigned account.
-Assess and follow customer complaints to satisfactory resolution.
Project Management of large NI/MOD projects from time of booking until final acceptance. Interface with sales & customers to ensure specification are met completely. Interface with superintendent and engineering to resolve technical problems. Interface with local and region management to ensure a quality installation as well as a financially successful installation. When required provide proposals for change notices and ensure properly posted. Track and ensure that all invoices are not only issued up to date but paid. Input CQR\'s for all jobsite technical or logistics problems. When required, make decisions regarding contract/technical problems. Provide all the necessary information to Region Management on a regular basis to keep them informed of progress. Understand basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and make decisions accordingly. Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization. Assures project legal documents are completed and signed. Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization. In addition, any other additional functions required in making long term performance and customer relationship aspects a success. Education: 4 year degree in business or engineering preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year in the elevator or construction related industry.
