- Troubleshooting connectivity issues, permissions, etc with COTS and custom applications and SQL

Our client has an immediate opening for SQL Engineers SQL Database Administrator (DBA) in Reston and Arlington, VA as part of the operations and engineering teams to support an enterprise environment for a large federal agency. The MS Windows Server Engineer will be supporting MS SQL 2005, running MOSS (SharePoint) solutions. *NOTE “ We consider this a HYBRID position with deep understanding of MS Windows WINTEL operations supporting Server, OS, storage and backup/restore operations. On the DBA side it supporting MS SQL Services with COTS applications, most importantly SharePoint running on a MS Windows Server 2K3 Enterprise, MS SQL Server 2K5 environment. MS Windows Server Engineer is responsible for the Server, Storage, Clustering, OS and the Integration of SQL Server 2K5 with the Commercial Applications, preferably Sharepoint.
