CMA is recruiting for a Production Manager with experience in Sign Manufacturing. MUST HAVE SIGN MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE. Candidate must be able to make the production process more efficient. Candidate will monitor product standards and implement quality control. Candidate will work with team members to develop detailed schedules for plant stations. They will oversee and evaluate the performance of plant workers, provide creative input, oversee prototypes and all fabrication. Candidate will evaluate vendor products and materials including developing technologies to make purchasing recommendations for appropriate tools and products. Candidate will record and maintain job information and distribute schedules as well as maintain underwriters laboratory standards on all products. Preferred candidates will have experience working within a small business of 50 to 100+ employees and over $10million in sales. Candidate will work closely with sales, procurement and logistics. Must have experience managing others and creating a valued team environment. Candidate would be expected to lead by example, be a team player, and work with a diverse group of people. This is a fulltime position with medical benefits and salary is commensurate with skill level. Out of state candidates are being considered for this position.
This position requires:
Minimum of 5 years relevant Plant manager experience in Sign Manufacturing
Technical skills in electrical wiring, welding and fabrication
Office programs including spreadsheets and schedules
Strong knowledge of materials, codes, finishes and design concepts
Excellent organizational, analytical and collaboration skills
LEAN MANUFACTURING management experience is required
