Position Title: Technical Project - Portfolio Manager
Location: Charlotte, NC
Relevant experience: 10+ yrs
Experience Required:
10+ years of general IT experience with at least 5-6 years of Technical Project Management experience with excellent verbal & written communication skills

Technical/Functional Skills:
1. Strong project & team management skills (planning, control and people management)
2. Excellent verbal & written communication skills
3. Ability to understand application architecture and drive system outage resolution conference calls
4. Strong knowledge of SDLC and production support and maintenance management processes
5. Past experience of working with Senior IT management and ability to articulate system issues to IT and business in a crisp manner
6. Proactive application management, delivering continuous application improvement and root cause elimination of problems
7. Accountable to both the business and IT leadership for post-implementation maintenance and support. Strong interaction with Senior Solutions Delivery Management tier and, in some cases, Relationship Management tier.
8. Manage issue resolution and provide root cause analysis and status for any application production problems.
9. Interact with the infrastructure team and business users to understand and prioritize demand and suggest enhancements.
10. Manage baseline technology budget for application - related activities, approve ad hoc, non-application - related spending.
11. Seek ways to reduce Lights On application related costs and increase efficiencies of applications in production.
12. Execute / enforce controls for business continuity testing.
13. Manage QA testing for production migrations working with QA Shared Services Organization.
14. Ensure appropriate production processes and quality metrics are in place for a specific application or platform.
15. Manage the end-to-end change control function, oversee vendor relationships, and maintain SLAs at an application / platform level.
16. Responsible for BCP, contingency, test and audit activities related to a specific application or platform.
17. Inform Senior Solutions Delivery Manager, and in some cases Relationship Management of status, issues and resolutions to lights on efforts
18. Manage simple multiple work streams under a single project that may be a new initiative or enhancement to an existing technology solution
19. Participate with Solutions Delivery management in project planning, execution and status reporting
20. Interact with the infrastructure team and business users to understand strategic goals, prioritize demands and offer strategic recommendations
21. Accountable to both the business and IT leadership for end-to-end application scoping, planning, development, implementation. Depending on organization structure may liaison or be accountable to Solutions Delivery Senior Manager, and in some cases Relationship Management tier.
22. Manage application construction, integration, and deployment.
23. Oversee execution of technical, information and application architecture, and development of technical designs for discretionary projects
24. Responsible for end-to-end technology development and integration for a specific application or platform from planning through implementation
25. Provide Senior Solutions Management, and in some cases Relationship Management tier, with status, issues and estimates on pertinent initiatives.
