Position Title : Project Manager – Infrastructure Management Group
Location : Pleasanton, CA
Experience Required : 10 Years
Required skills:
Necessary Skills:
1. Project Manager that has background in hardware/software upgrades and migration. This needs to be a person that has hands on experience in the past and now is managing and overseeing hardware tech-refresh and software upgrade projects.
2. Experience in migration of application/databases to a new server/hardware.
3. Must have experience working within a data center. Must have experience assisting or managing a migration.
4. Work with computer hardware vendors and software application vendors to install new or upgraded hardware and firmware.
5. Organize and lead a team of computer and electronics engineer and technicians to ensure the proper computer hardware installation and maintenance.
6. Update senior management on the progress of involvement in any computer project management, installation, upgrade and repair work.
7. Need to be hands on technically and also have experience within the functional management also. Will be working with both technical and non-technical teams.
8. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
9. Must have excellent organizational, supervisory and managerial skills
Desired Skills:
• Tech/hardware refresh hands on experience in the past
• Technical awareness of the hardware configuration compatibility and knowledge of physical, virtual and cloud environments
