IT Systems Manager
at Lehigh Technical Service - Melville, NY in New York
Our client, a respected and well-recognized distributor of specalized industrial machinery, has an exciting and immediate opening for a hands-on, self-motivated and results-driven team player who will manage and mentor Jr. IT Staff Members and be an expert with Microsoft Dynamics GP.
Reporting to the CFO, the ideal candidate will work closely with all departments to further evolve and enhance key metrics and business intelligence reporting.
Some essential responsibilities are as follows:
• Manage existing Microsoft Dynamic GP ERP Software and act as Project Manager working with outside VAR to implement CRM and other business intelligence applications.
• Work with various departments to ensure maximum utilization and refinement of current ERP System architect, including information field set-ups, proper operations, best practices process flow, mapping, and most importantly and inevitably, the business intelligence information output.
• Establish IT policies, standards, best practices, and strategic security tiers and measures to ensure effective and consistent information processing operations and to safeguard the information technology systems and the information stored within.
• Prepare annual information and communications system budget and establish controls to stay within the specified limits of that budget.
• Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects and also handle the management and accounting aspects of a project while ensuring that quality, timeliness and performance are to specifications.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• 10+ years of experience
• Prior experience in Microsoft Dynamics GP (must have!)
• Experience in CRM, SQL Reporting Services & Crystal Reports
• Knowledge of Database Administration required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
• Warehouse Management Systems (Barcode System Implementation) experience a +
