Position Title : Storage (SAN) Engineer
Location : Cupertino, CA
Experience Required : 5 Years
Required skills :
1) Component requirements
a. Responsible for ongoing and daily configuration and management of storage infrastructure in Netapp SAN and NAS, IBM DS series storages DS8100/DS8300/DS8700
b. Perform required storage maintenance according to NetApp and IBM DS series best practices.
c. Hands on experience in general maintenance, configuration, provisioning, logical volume management; performance review and troubleshooting
d. Must be familiar with director class SAN switches, preferably McData/Brocade and DCFM or EFCM management tools
e. Experience in working with Vendors and IS Operations on incidents and upgrades; Knowledge of IBM TSM is plus
f. Should be able to work in 24x7 support environment
g. Experience as SAN admin for brocade Switches
h. Knowledge on EMC VNX administration/ Data Domain will be plus
i. Should be able to troubleshoot issues with the IBM/NetApp storage systems.
j. Knowledge of ksh/perl scripting is plus

a. Should be able to work on high end Storage systems
3) OS requirements
a. Unix/Linux/AIX knowledge mandatory
