Position Title: DB2 UDB Data Analyst
Location: Roseland, NJ
Relevant experience: 5+ years
Required skills:
• Must have DB2 UDB ver. 8/9, Strong SQL, Stored Procedures, Data conversion experience, AIX, Shell Scripting, Inbound/Outbound Feeds development
• Must be able to design and implement complex Stored procedure solutions to programming challenges, particularly in the areas of design patterns and code re-use
• Must be well versed in writing complex and highly performing SQL scripts/UNIX Shell scripts for Data Conversion/Batch Processes
• Must be able to document work clearly, in the form of class and sequence diagrams, as well as liberal comments in code
• Must be well versed in writing inbound & outbound feeds and interactions with other systems including Linkage Testing
Nice-to-have Skills:
• Tuning Database/SQL performance
• Crystal Reports, Java, JavaScript
• Experience with IDEs and debuggers such as Embarcadero Rapid SQL,
• Data Model experience using Embarcadero ER Studio / Erwin
