Position Title: Java, J2EE, EJB Developer
Location: Roseland, NJ
Relevant experience: 6-8 years
Required skills:
Must have: Java, ExtJS, JavaScript, SQL (preferably with UDB), solid OO foundation, any IDE (preferably IBM RAD 7/8)
• Must be able to design and implement elegant OO development solutions to programming challenges, particularly in the areas of design patterns and code re-use
• Must be well versed in writing complex and highly performing SQL scripts and stored procedures
• Must be well-versed in multi-threaded programming in Java, and in writing efficient code in general
• Must be well-versed in JavaScript programming, particularly in DOM manipulation
• Must be able to document work clearly, in the form of class and sequence diagrams, as well as liberal comments in code
Nice-to-have Skills:
• J2EE, JPA, Ajax, Web design tools (HTML, CSS, Adobe tools)
• Experience with IDEs and debuggers, preferably IBM RAD/WebSphere and Firebug
• Client side programming using JavaScript using any JavaScript framework, eg ExtJS
• Server-side programming using Spring MVC and Persistence using JPA and Experience with EJB2.0
