Position Title: .Net Developer
Location: Washington, DC
Relevant experience: 5+ Years
Required skills:
• The candidate should have at least Five (5) years of experience in developing web based enterprise applications using the Microsoft .NET technology platform. The candidate must be proficient with C#, ASP.NET and components/inner workings of the Microsoft .NET framework. The candidate should have exceptional SQL development skills and must possess an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server. Experience in developing enterprise web solutions using ASP.NET and C# is essential for this position. The candidate should have a thorough understanding of software design patterns and must be able to leverage his/her knowledge of patterns while designing technical solutions.
The candidate should meet the following qualifications:
• 5 years of experience developing web based solutions using the .NET Framework, C# and ASP.NET.
• 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience in designing and developing reports using the Microsoft ReportViewer controls / client report definition (RDLC) files. Exposure to developing reporting solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) will be an added advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience developing .NET based solutions that employ Web Services.
• Thorough understanding and working knowledge of software design patterns.
• Understanding and working knowledge of Windows Communication foundation (WCF)m Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF) and Language INtegrated Query (LINQ).
• Thorough understanding and working knowledge of software design patterns.
• Highly Proficient in the concepts of Object Oriented Programming.
• Experience in understanding solutions developed using Microsoft Access & VBA and re-engineering them into .NET based solutions will be a definite advantage.
• Experience with ASP and Microsoft Visual Basic programming language is desirable.
