Position Title: Senior Database Developer
Location: Washington, DC
Relevant experience: 8+ Years
Required skills:
• The candidate will perform database development and data analysis tasks in support of data collection, processing and dissemination
• 8+ years experience procedural SQL PL/SQL, shell scripting, data migrations, data conversions, and extract, translate, load (ETL) development.
• Knowledge of statistical databases, and ability to display statistical data for general public use via website.
• 1-3 years experience working with web development technology: Cold Fusion.
• Ability to identify and trouble-shoot data integration problems and work with the engineering to get issues resolved
• Knowledge of SAS and SPSS would be helpful.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience leading large customer meetings and formal presentations.
