We have an urgent requirement for Oracle DBA with one of our direct clients. Kindly see below for references
Position Title: Oracle DBA
Location: Washington, DC
Relevant experience: 6-10 Years
Required skills:
• We have an opportunity for a PL SQL Developer/DBA to work across multiple technologies including Oracle, and SQL Server. This position requires the ability to multi-task and flexibility is required to interact with various teams and the client on a variety of database administration responsibilities.
• Manage all aspects of database development and analysis including planning, configuration and testing. Experience as a business application developer using Oracle; strong design and development experience with PL/SQL, SQL-Loader and other Oracle tools, as well as an advanced knowledge of the SQL language are required. Database administration skill is highly desirable. (This job is only available to US Citizens).
• Also, a security clearance (Public Trust, credit history especially will be examined) is required.
• Minimum of 6 - 10 years overall experience working with multiple Oracle DB products (e.g., Oracle 9i, 10g, and 11g, etc.)
• Ability to identify and trouble-shoot data integration problems and work with the engineering resolve production issues.
• Demonstrated success performing Oracle database administration tasks
• Strong working knowledge of PL/SQL
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong Unix shell scripting skills
