*Candidate must have 7+ years experience deploying highly scalable Web
Services Solution.

*Main focus will be elaborating on high-level designs into more detailed architecture designs, as well as developing and implementing those solutions.

*Additional focus on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) design patterns, working with distributed systems and deployments that span across geospatial data centers.

*Expertise in open source solutions, including development, deployment and end-to-end performance optimization of a large scale system.

*Expertise in relational and/or \“NoSQL\” data base management systems.

*Expertise in Java, Spring, REST and SOAP.

*Ability to work hands-on across all layers of vertical development, from web based GUIs to service and data integration layers.

*Experience in at least one web application development framework: PHP, JSP, HTML5, Flex, Ajax, Python, etc.

*Expert level experience with Java and or Javascript.

*Ability to self manage, mentor more junior developers and lead a focus team within a product component.

*Ability to build prototype implementations with loosely defined, high-level requirements.

*Full life-cycle web based product experience.

*Experience working with mission critical and solutions with zero to 99.999 downtime SLA requirements.
