Qualifications
• US Citizen or US Permanent Resident. Able to pass Background Investigation and maintain a Security Clearance. Existing Clearances with TS or Secret will be held and maintained by our client
• BS Degree Computer Science or related degree (Will consider equivalent experience)
• Five (5) PLUS years of Network Engineering experience including; Wireless, OSP, ISP and POP Design, Router/Switch connectivity and configuration
• Five (5) PLUS years of Network Engineering including Requirements Gathering and Network Design, Planning and Implementation
• Willing to reside in Kabul Afghanistan for two-years
• Experience working in Afghanistian is highly desirable.

Elite Technical is a technology integration and managed service provider. Our client has an immediate direct hire employment position for a Senior Wireless Network Engineer / Program Manager stationed in Afghanistan/Kabul. The Senior Wireless Network Engineer / Program Manager, is the Primary Engineering Point-of-Contact for facilitating “Response to Task Order” to US Government Task Orders for complex integrated Network Solutions. There is extensive communications work occurring within Afghanistan with 2 to 3 task orders released per week. Essentially the US Government along with select contractors and our client is connecting the entire country.

Responsibilities
• On-site Requirements Gathering and mapping solution requirements
• Design Wide Area Communications solutions including: Wireless (site to site), WAN connectivity and Local Area Networking (Routers & Switches)
• Lead team of on-site technicians including nationals
• Project Leadership
• Work hand-and-hand with SR. Program Manager responding to Task Orders
• Document solution
• Respond to technical inquiries
• Create comprehensive Bill of Materials
• Develop Labor Requirements
• Develop Network Design Map

Additional Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain a winning attitude resulting in winning multiple tasks orders
• Successfully work and adapt to cultural differences. Figure out what works
• Maintain Project Leadership
• Reliable stable in-country resource

Additional Notes
• Will be in-country for a minimum 2-year stay
• Every 3 to 6 months will be returning stateside for R&R and stateside work
• Will be staying in a Kabul Compound
