Qualifications

• 1 or more years of Citrix Technical Support experience

Contract based Technical Support opportunity for a Professional IT Support Technician working within the medical field for a leading provider of healthcare systems. Ground floor opportunity with potential for longer term employment.
Summary
Selected IT Support Technician will be managing the activities related to our clients internal IT support for their Hauppauge office and installation and maintenance of existing client IT infrastructure in support of installed database applications.
Responsibilities
• Installation of supported application hardware in the client’s environment
• Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows based file servers including Windows 2003 and Windows 2000
• Install and manage Citrix server farm installations and all associated security and application environment considerations.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot Right Fax server installations
• Day-to-day IT functions in-house including server design and support, network and firewall maintenance, Active Directory support, tape backup procedures and desktop operating system support.
• Manage web applications and work with hosting providers
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
• Firewall rule sets, routing and security settings including IPSEC tunnels, routing protocols, security policies and configurations
