This Position Is Responsible For Selling Primarily Voice Products And Services. Focus Will Be On Medium To Large Size Accounts. Builds And Manages Long-term Customer Relationships/partnerships To Ensure Customer Satisfaction. May Be Focused In A Geographic Territory Or A Vertical Market. It Is The Responsibility Of The Account Manager To Find, Define, Propose, Close And Maintain Business That Is Profitable For The Company.
Education - Bachelor's Degree - Preferably In Business, Marketing Or Technical; Or The Equivalent Of 4 Years Experience In The Specialized Area Of Technical Support Or Sales. Specialized Training/Skills - Must Possess Excellent Telephone Sales Skills, And Possess Good Listening Skills. Requires Ability To Interpret Customer Needs. Must Be Fully Versed In Technical Product Application Knowledge. Must Have An Excellent Knowledge Of Products Being Marketed. Requires Ability To Operate A PC/CRT And Access To Database In Order To Respond To A Customer. Must Have A Working Knowledge Of Word Processing Software. Requires A Motivated, Self-starting, Goal-oriented Individual. Must Possess A High Degree Of Maturity And Integrity In Dealing With Customers And Other Team Members. Should Be Well Organized, Energetic, Enthusiastic And Have A Helpful, Customer Oriented Approach To Business.
Skills/Experience Required: Experience - Minimum Of Two Years Experience In The Telephony, Data Communications Or Computer Related Technical Field With A Proven Track Record Of Sales Achievement.
