Aon’s account and relationship managers form a comprehensive perspective of our clients’ organizations, matching our expertise to their business strategy.Currently, we have an excellent career opportunity available for an Account Executive with Aon Insurance Managers in our Burlington, VT office.Primary Accountabilities• To oversee the day-to-day financial reporting operations and regulatory compliance requirements of Aon Insurance Managers’ US based captive insurance clients to include regulatory, financial reporting and insurance operations.• The individual would be the clients’ primary contact and will handle the annual independent audit of these clients as well as be the liaison with the insurance regulators.• Additionally, this individual will coordinate and prepare for board meetings.• The Account Executive will have oversight of work prepared by an Accountant and Insurance Manager. He/she needs to be familiar with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Qualifications• Excellent communication skills• Strong knowledge of US GAAP financial reporting principles as well as a good understanding of corporate finance concepts• Should enjoy working in a service team environment.• Experience managing a team is a plus.• Prior captive experience is preferred.• CPA and/or MBA designation preferred.Aon is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse workforce.
