The incumbent develops policy for and manages all aspects of worldwide dissemination of Navy news and information to both internal and external audiences via the COMPACFLT website.

U.S. citizenship required. Relocation expenses will not be authorized. Obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
Major Duties:
The incumbent develops policy for and manages all aspects of worldwide dissemination of Navy news and information to both internal and external audiences via the COMPACFLT website and is responsible for oversight and direction of publicly accessible websites of Pacific Fleet subordinate commands.
This includes planning, designing, developing, testing, implementing, managing and maintaining in a timely manner static and dynamic web content for the COMPACFLT Public Affairs Office and other COMPACFLT HQ offices. Incumbent is also responsible for all technical aspects and management of web application tools and platforms for COMPACFLT Public Affairs, such as Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML), File Transfer Protocol (FTP), and Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds and networking. Must be prepared to completely and independently redesign COMPACFLT public-facing website and associated pages once per year and when N00 leadership changes, providing Internet services that optimize customer experiences and creating web pages that enable all potential users to access information contained on web pages.
