Software Engineer
at confidential in Colorado Springs, CO
You will be working at one of the preeminent, small but quickly growing software companies in the country; in an Air Force environment. Specific development tasks will focus on th development of .NET software components and architecture design. A strong focus on software security is required. Our product, WebTAS, is a suite of data visualization, trend analysis, and data integration tools made available to analysts throughout the intelligence community. It can be deployed as both a fat client and a web-based application. You will be working as an integral part of our development team who are charged with managing the integration effort, liaising with our government customers to formulate product requirements, as well mentoring and domain modeling. This position will offer you the opportunity to inject your creativity, vision, and perspective into the overall design process and interface with a bright and diverse group of engineers and analysts who have chosen to invest their talent in a greater cause to keep our nation safe and protect our interests abroad. Required Skills
B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering Minimum of 4 years of C# and/or Visual Basic.NET for applications development Authentication (Windows and Custom) Role based authorization Understanding of encryption and hashing algorithms Knowledge of federal regulations related to information security (FI SMA, Computer security Act. etc.) PIK Excellent interpersonal skill
Desired Skills
Working knowledge of the US intelligence community and DoD systems Network, host, data and/or application security in multiple operating system environments Experience working with IP networking, networking protocols, understanding of, DSN, electronic mail and access-lists.
