Full-time Principal IT Business Process Consultant,

Participates in all change advisory boards (CABs) through the RFC process life cycle (reviewing, authorizing, rejecting or tabling RFCs), leads the emergency CAB (ECAB) and enterprise CAB Participates in ITCM technology evaluations and decisions, and manages the day-to-day use of ITCM tools Manage Standard, Governance, and Controls Acts as guardian for the systems change management process, including responsibility for standards issuance and revision of procedures or forms, as appropriate Creates procedures for the issuance and approval of standards documents Manages standard or preapproved change procedures, including assessment, final approval and list management Audits process to ensure that change implementers are updating change records accurately and in a timely way Manages ITCM process adherence with audit requirements by tracking and monitoring identified regulatory artifacts.Reviews change requests for completeness, from documentation to closure Produces, oversees and controls the enterprise change schedule Negotiates scheduling conflicts based on business priorities As needed, arranges and facilitates appropriate post-implementation review activities for changes, as prescribed by the process policy Creates Change Advisory Boards (CABs) as appropriate across ISTS and provides guidance, standards and mentoring for them.Creates, manages and maintains the strategic and tactical plans for the Change Management process and applications.Interfaces with ISTS Compliance and other audit organizations within PG&E in regards to regulatory requirements and standards Process Improvement and Performance Management Monitors trends and reports on system change management process metrics Describes outcomes of critical success factors (CSFs) and KPIs - for example: KPI: Increase successful RFC percentage or KPI: Decrease emergency RFC or percentage or KPI: Increase standard RFC percentage.Participates in incident and problem analysis for possible consequences of a change and its implement ationIdentifies appropriate people and roles to offer input on performance and scope Evaluates and recommends process improvement opportunities in collaboration with other IT service management process areas. Process Training, Communication, & Coordination Provides and coordinates training on the systems change management process to key process stakeholders Communicates modifications to the systems change management community Acts as a focal point for process issues and suggestions Arranges/facilitates appropriate systems change management team meetings
