You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand customer needs and opportunities, and deliver innovative and disruptive solutions for the broader market. You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. In this role, you will work with engineering to define product release requirements, product marketing to define go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers. You will be an internal and external evangelist for Righ tNow Voice, working with the sales channel and key customers, as well as with analysts and press. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Owning the overall Right Now Voice product line, including the voice platform, voice applications, integration points, etc. (market and product expertise, product justification, product line P&L, roadmap) Defining the Right Now Voice product integration strategy for connectivity to both Right Now products across all Right Now COEs (Contact Center, Web, Social, Engage, Platform), as well as to 3rd party products as a part of an overall go-to-market strategy against the defined Right Now Contact Center and CX vision. This includes 3rd party products/integrations like speech recognition, text-to-speech, speaker verification, etc. Own overall P&L for the product line, including 3rd party contracts and costing Ensuring proper architectural foundation for Right Now Voice (built, OEM’d, or acquired) to drive Voice, CC COE/CX vision Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and prospects Driving a product road map across development teams through market requirements, business case development, clear prioritization, product requirements, and product positioning Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan for Right Now Voice, working with all departments to execute Owning channel enablement, including communicating the Right Now Voice vision and delivering the context for sales and marketing programs, collateral, training, and sales tools Provide support to the sales channels, including presentation and demo creation/delivery, individually supporting strategic sales opportunities, event support, etc. Building, managing, and growing a Right Now Voice partner ecosystem to enable effective application tooling/creation strategies, partner certification programs, and developer forums Delivering Voice best practices to Right Now sales and customers, including Voice application design, VUI design, ROI, Application Discovery, Speech vs. DTMF consulting, CTI strategies, etc. Driving innovation into the business – disruptive products and offers; M&A recommendations; creativity in customer/partner engagement; etc. The position reports to the Vice President, Contact Center COE. B.S. Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or Engineering, M.B.A. preferred 4-7 years experience in high tech product management, Pragmatic Marketing Certification preferred 3-5 years experience in delivering voice self service solutions Proven ability to lead within a cross-functional organization.
