Plant Engineer-Projects
at confidential in Honolulu, HI
We seek a dedicated individual who will manage the facility's capital expenditure projects and provide in-house engineering expertise to design, modify, or develop facilities, testing, machines, equipment, or processes for this energy-from-waste facility.
Position Requirements
The position requires a Bachelors Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering plus at least five years experience working in power plants or related industry; or a high school diploma and ten-plus years experience with strong, demonstrated technical and managerial capability. The ability to effectively manage several simultaneous projects and be thoroughly familiar with a personal computer and its use for planning, budgeting, inventory control, and database handling are required. The following physical demands must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job: Be able to climb stairs and ladders, occasionally work at heights, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds. Participation in shift work may be required and must be available to personally respond to project emergencies, 24-hours a day.
