The Logistics Coordinator position is a member of the Planning and Scheduling Team and is responsible for managing critical raw materials and intermediates, establishing production plans and priorities to match customers orders and for managing inventory and on-time delivery performance. Additional responsibilities include; leading continuous improvement efforts around Planning/Scheduling Operational Excellence Key Process Indicators, maintaining material level master data, promoting and utilizing disciplined P&S workflows, and ensuring production schedules are executed as planned. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a technical degree. 2-5 years experience as a production scheduler. Self motivated with a can do attitude and be able to balance multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multi-functional disciplines, such as production operations, procurement, customer service, sales, marketing, accounting and engineering. Preferred qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics CPIM certification Knowledge of SAP production module and Foxboro Six Sigma project experience and knowledge of tools Previous chemical or pharmaceutical experience
