USA has an intern opportunity in the Lincoln, NE Human Resources Department. You will be challenged to demonstrate an ability to plan, lead, decide, inform, advise, manage problems and evaluate results. These situations will require proper exercise of technical, conceptual and human skills. This is an opportunity to gain practical experience in an industrial setting. On-the-job experience will include introductions to management consulting, labor relations, healthy lifestyles, workers compensation and community involvement. As part of a global professional human resource team, you will also lead projects regarding talent management, performance management, total rewards, general administration and communication.
Qualified candidates must have an interest in Human Resource management and be currently enrolled in a four-year degree program at an accredited college/university. Preferences will be given to students in their Junior or Senior year.
Experience Requirements:
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills;
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Word and Powerpoint are required;
- Effective verbal and written communication skills;
- Must be detail oriented and well organized.
