Full-time Transcriptionist, Pathology

at confidential in Kailua, HI

Interprets and transcribes dictation by Pathology Technician, Pathologist Assistant and Pathologist regarding specimen assessment, workup, pathological procedures, clinical course, diagnosis, etc. in order to document patient care and facilitate delivery of healthcare services.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.

MINIMUM FIELD-OF-EXPERTISE:
Training and/or experience in laboratory/pathology transcription. Accurately types at least 40-60 wpm. Proficiency in Microsoft Word.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:
Certification as Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) preferred.
