In Store Assistant Banking Center Manager
at confidential in Shawnee, KS
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
· Contacts customers, business, community and civic organizations to promote goodwill and generate new business.
· Interviews customers to obtain information and explain available financial services.
· Take loan applications, quote rates and close them with customers.
· Explain, promote and sell banks products and services inside and outside the bank office.
· Announce marketing advertisements over the Wal-Mart PA system.
· Responsible for adherence to banks operational compliance and security policies, applicable state, and federal laws.
· Responsible to coach, counsel and motivate staff.
· Train staff in customer service, banking procedures and sales.
· Prepares staff performance evaluations and sets goals.
Qualifications:
Position requires an energy and motivation for working in a sales and service atmosphere. Candidates should possess some retail and cash handling experience. A sales background is preferred along with teller and new accounts experience. This position requires prior supervisory experience, combined with excellent communication and customer service skills. Familiarity with consumer lending is a plus.
