Director of Marketing
at confidential in Florence, IN
The incumbent in this position is responsible for the direction and management of all of the following operations: Marketing, Advertising, Events/Promotion, Direct Marketing, Players Club, Retail, Spa and Salon. Responsible for achieving revenue and income objectives and market share, and monitoring guest service objectives, in accordance with corporate policy and Indiana Gaming Commission Regulations.
Job Requirements:
In-depth understanding of the management and operations of all casino and tourism business. Thorough knowledge of and experience in the management of casino marketing functions. Understanding of the property’s regional geographic market. Understanding of the technical workings of media and media buying; advertising; research; public relations; and promotions. Complete familiarity with budgeting process, financial statements, and basic accounting principles; understanding of corporate and property-specific policies and procedures. This knowledge and these skills are typically acquired through a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Hospitality, or related field, in addition to five years progressive casino marketing, marketing/advertising and/or marketing related experience.
