Meter Reader/Collector \Florida Public Utilities
at Confidential (Anywhere)
this position will report to the Customer Service Supervisor and is responsible for meter reading and collection duties including, but not limited to, the following: 1.Promoting good customer and public relations. 2.Reading meters accurately and efficiently. 3. Monitoring and collecting on delinquent gas accounts, jobbing merchandising, returned checks, etc. 4.Routing and sequencing meter reading routes in an efficient and productive manner. 5.Terminating gas service when necessary for delinquencies, theft of service, etc. 6.Reporting irregularities such as damaged meters, corrosion, leakage, idle meters found on, tampering, etc. 7.Monitoring and investigating misreads and/or re-read requests. 8. Completing all collections paperwork as required. 9. Completing other duties as assigned.
