Service Supervisor/Florida Public Utilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the supervision and scheduling of service personnel, training and instructing service personnel on policies, procedures, standards, safety rules, and in the performance of job duties.

Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma Experience: Knowledge and experience in natural and propane appliance repair/installation including gas meter, regulator and fuel line sizing, and venting. Demonstrate significant knowledge of gas distribution system repairs and maintenance and safe work practices. Demonstrate significant knowledge of the most current adopted editions of the Florida Fuel Gas Codes, NFPA 58 LP Gas Codes and NFPA 54 LP Gas Codes. Must have a working knowledge or capable of developing a working knowledge of personal computers and computer software such as Word, Excel, Utility Mapping System, etc. and must have a working knowledge or capable of developing a working knowledge of all mainframe computer applications used by FPUC. Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, be capable of producing professional, error-free written correspondence, exhibit a high degree of accuracy while performing duties, have the willingness and ability to handle certain tasks in a confidential manner, be willing to travel as needed and have the ability to supervise other employees including supervision of union personnel.
