EHS Manager

Assess existing processes against both internal and external requirements. Establish improvement strategies for both short and long term goals.
Provide EHS compliance, risk management and project management leadership to the location.Ensure that adequate resources are identified for regulatory compliance and risk management activities. Meet stated goals within designated timeframes. Develop, coordinate, and implement location EHS management systems, goals, policies, procedures, and work instructions.Negotiate routine permit and minor enforcement matters with regulators.Coordinate with BU EHS leadership, regulators, customers, employees, contractors, and other stakeholders on facility EHS matters.Monitor local EHS regulatory developments and implement appropriate response programs.Develop and monitor EHS capital expenditures and budgets.Coordinate and ensure EHS training is delivered.Audit and assess EHS processes; and implement corrective actions.Monitor and oversee routine EHS compliance activities (i.e. wastewater permits, SPCC, SWP3).Establish data collection and analysis processes.Continually develop EHS knowledge and competency, develop both federal and state regulatory expertise, and participate in local and state level EHS activities.Monitor and ensure EHS teams and process leaders are striving for continuous improvement utilizing the "plan, do, check, act" (PDCA) process; and that appropriate recognition and accountability process are in place.
