General Maintenance
at confidential in Tamuning, GU
Perform minor maintenance duties and assist trade technicians in and around airport facilities. Responsible for responding to and clearing faults that occur with the baggage handling system in a timely manner, reporting any issues that are found that could potentially lead to additional system failures.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
The General Maintenance will assist trade personnel and perform maintenance duties with a professional demeanor. Responsible for responding to trouble calls immediately after announced. Clearing any faults and reporting errors to lead. Identify any potential issues that are found with equipment. Identify any potential issues that are re-occurring with the system and document them. Generate work orders for work that needs to be performed. Follow up on work orders to assure that work is done and status of work orders reflects the correct status. Ensure that parts are properly being documented on the work order
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Active Driver License 1-2 years of related experience in general maintenance work Must have knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Additional Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds Ability to use hand trucks, forklifts, tugs and lift trucks Basic Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Word) Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
