Full-time Manufacturing Engineer

at confidential in Columbus, TX

• Uses lean principles to ensure efficiency of production scheduling and
resource utlization.
• Gathers data and performs calculations on cycle times, welding
processes, and work flow.
• Provides engineering to evaluate customer comments on approval
drawings for technical and commercial content additions and supports
fabrication and shop questions during assembly of equipment.
• Focuses on continual process improvements.
• Ensures maximum equipment utilization and focuses on preventative
maintenance and reduced downtime.
• Trains, mentors, and supervises production staff on lean manufacturing
techniques.
Preferred Education/Experience:
• Four to ten years engineering and design experience with natural gas
production, treating, and processing equipment and facilities including:
Oil and Gas Separation; Dehydration; Amine Treating; Refrigeration
Systems; J-T Units; LPG Recovery; Fractionation.
Skills/Requirements
• Must be highly motivated and possess a willingness to expand personal
skills and/or knowledge base.
• Must be able to work in a team environment to develop improved work
processes and/or procedures for the department.
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably
in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
