Systems Engineer Senior Principal II #C100169

Must have:
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD secret clearance.
BS in technical field plus 15 years Systems Engineering experience; or Masters and 13 years; or PhD and 10 years; or, equivalent experience.
Hands-on experience in any of the following EW domains is a must:
Radar = Jammers; Warning Receivers
Communications = Jamming & Detection; ISR; SIGINT or COMINT Receivers
AESA = Antenna design; Amplifier (Power or Low Noise MMIC); Beam forming/Steering; Power Supplies
Application domain experience must encompass some of the following:
RF(UHF, VHF, uW, mmW); digital; DSP; Software; Analog; Control. And entail design, fabrication, integration, and production support.
Proven ability to work with customers, creating new solutions that meet their requirements within acceptable cost and schedule parameters. This requires well developed communication and presentation skills, as well as experience in proposal development.
Specifically performs design, fabrication, analysis (software vs hardware trade-offs), validation and verification (V&V), integration (HW/SW systems), and test/production support. This requires an understanding of the customer mission and concepts of operation (CONOPS), as they align with the overall business strategy of the Company. Requirements generation, requirements management and specification preparation is also required (CONOPS, PIDS, CIDS, SRSs, ICD, HWCI, SWCI). A major focus on technical risk assessment and risk mitigation is inherent at this level.
Experience with creating and maintaining budgets and schedules is a must. Adhering to EVMS practices is strongly preferred.
Technical Systems Engineering Management (SEM) experience is also preferred.
This position applies broad technical knowledge in Systems Engineering, defines complex system architecture and generates requirements; essentially leading system development within military airborne and ground-based Electronic Warfare systems.
