Powertrain Production Supervisor
at confidential in Romeo, MI
We are currently seeking a Powertrain Production Supervisor to supervise
unionized production personnel. The Powertrain Production Supervisor
will organize manpower distribution to ensure proper coverage including
vacations, medical leaves of absence and leaves of absence; Provide
resources, atmosphere, and priority for never-ending improvement in all
aspects of the business; Coordinate team efforts to develop and maintain
quality; Work with hourly personnel to provide technical leadership and
training; Ensures that health and safety hazards and unsafe practices
are corrected while optimizing production through the use of constraint
management techniques; Monitor operation constraints and part flow.
Skills Desired:
The successful candidate will have a Bachelors or equivalent in
Engineering. The Powertrain Production Supervisor candidate will have
Manufacturing Supervisory experience; Prior experience in managing both
hourly and salaried personnel; Availability to work overtime as
required; High volume manufacturing experience; Metal machining
experience; Must be willing to work any shift and daily, weekend,
