for commercial, industrial, residential and utility markets and is
division of Cooper Industries a Fortune 500 Company. Our fast-paced
manufacturing operation in Vicksburg, MS has immediate opportunities for
experienced individuals with a Customer-First attitude.
We have immediate opening for the following position:
Manufacturing Engineer
– K nowledge of power distribution systems and electric machines, strong
background in electrical controls, machine networking, hydraulics,
injection molding, pneumatics and PLC’s.
Responsible for machine modifications to produce specialized components,
providing engineering support, manufacturing engineering support and
continuous improvement engineering activities. Requires Electrical or
Mechanical Engineer degree
, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering related field or
equivalent experience. Successful experience 3 -5 years in manufacturing
leadership. Possess high degree of knowledge in six-sigma/lean
manufacturing, operations, process design, lean manufacturing systems
and quality.
Requires degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, and 5 years
experience, Lean and
Project management experience, PLC knowledge.
Personal computer skills to include Word, Excel and Outlook, SAP
knowledge a plus. The individual must have a team player attitude,
ability to solve problems and excellent communication skills.
