To be considered for this project job seekers must meet the following criteria:

• US Citizen and able to clear Public Trust background check. Candidates with an existing clearance will be given a preference
• BS Degree with five (5) years of Data Security experience. Will consider candidates with equivalent experience
• Current experience implementing and supporting Vontu Data Loss Prevention (DLP) is considered a big PLUS
• Equivalent product experience in DLP including; McAfee, RSA, CA, Trend Micro, Websense etc… will be considered.
• Data Security experience includes; protect the integrity, confidentiality and availability of systems, networks, and data Security Oriented Consulting Engineer with refined Client Services and Communication skills
• Certifications including; CISSP, GSE, GIAC etc… are a PLUS
• Areas of Security Expertise technology stack includes;
• IT security and Privacy concepts
• Data Loss Prevention
• End point storage
• Data at rest storage protection.
• Relevant IT standards and norms including; ISO, ITIL, COBIT, FISMA, DITSCAP, DCID, NIST.

Ground breaking Data Security Engineer consulting opportunity to join team during Phase 1 of Vontu’s Data Loss Prevention project for a well known DC based Federal Agency. First phase is 12 month project with 5 out-years baked into the project plan. Phases include; Discovery, Monitoring, Protect and on-going Management. The selected Consultant will serve as the Subject Matter Expert developing and implementing security policies and procedures; researching and evaluating highly complex security solutions to safeguard internal information systems and databases. Provide expert technical consultation on highly complex tasks.
