Qualifications include:

• Bachelor degree
• 8 years of IT experience
• 5+ years IT operations experience managing service outages of Network, Security and Server Infrastructure
• Demonstrate a solid grasp of modern IT technology, (Server, Networking, Security)
• Understand Event to Alert to Incident transition
• Ability to manage an incident mindful of SLA impact
• Familiar with PMP Project Management principles
• Familiar with ITIL Management Principles
• PMP and ITIL CERTS is a PLUS

• Open to work 2nd and or 3rd shift M-F Hours and flexible to work and cover other shifts including weekends as necessary.
• Ability to manage outages (incidents) in a controlled, competent and organized manner
• Ability to take command of an incident and manage the Engineering and Technical Resources to a successful conclusion
• Must be flexible and have the ability to change shifts or cover shifts when necessary

Our client has an immediate opening for 3 Service Delivery Managers. This is a 3-month contract-to-hire based position offering a long term opportunity with a stable organization offering recognition, growth and solid benefits.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Primary Incident manager for critical client outages

• Understand the technical challenges and take command of an incident and manage the Engineering and Technical Resources to a successful conclusion
• Interface with senior management
• Interact with a diverse team of technology professionals from Network, Server, SAN and Security
• Understand and engage the right engineering resources to resolve an incident within defined
• Develop after action and root cause analysis reports detailing the event, incident, cause and resolution
• Work locaiton is Reston, VA Datacenter
• Open to work the 3rd shift M-F Hours are from 10:00pm – 6:30am and flexible to work and cover other shifts including weekends as necessary.

• This is a tremendous transition role opportunity for an Engineer transition to Project Management or Operations Management
• Optimally the ideal candidate will demonstrate a high-degree of incident management, technical understanding, PMBOK and ITIL understanding with BS and 8 years experience.
