Security+ Certification.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (or ability to obtain the CISSP within 6 months of employment).
Minimum 4 years working experience in Active Directory (AD), Identity Management, Enterprise Directory Service (EDS).
Minimum 4 years working knowledge of NetOps.
Minimum 4 years supporting the planning of the architecture-system design.
Minimum 4 years implementing a NetOps tool within the capabilities of the Army LandWarNet NetOps Architecture (LNA).
Minimum 4 years working knowledge of enterprise NetOps concepts, AD, Messaging, and EDS the procedures.
Minimum 2 years working in a Technology Infrastructure Library ITIL-based business processes.
As the Project Manager/Active Directory you will use your experience in an enterprise level environment to provide support and guidance of the Active Directory (AD), Identity Management, Enterprise Directory Service (EDS), and other Microsoft-based Global Network Enterprise Construct (GNEC) AD Army Enterprise consolidation on the Unclassified but Sensitive Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) for the US Army. Your skills and ability to keep a project on task are key to ensuring the customers required needs are met and in a professional manner.
Highlights of Responsibilities
Provide system sustainment engineering and analysis supporting the current multiple exchange environment across the Army.
Support migration of Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007 GNEC consolidated messaging environment.
Develop the GNEC AD consolidation architecture design, implementation, and migration planning and fielding.
Develop a standard enterprise AD Group Policy Object (GPO), security/management modeling, scripting, and Army Golden Master (AGM) Platform.
Provide system sustainment engineering and analysis supporting Research in Motion (RIM) Blackberry for the current legacy operating environment.
Provide EDS/Identity Management system sustainment engineering and analysis support for the legacy EDS and Identity Management environment.
Support the development of the Army enterprise GNEC, EDS/Identity Management system, and account creation for AD consolidation architecture design development, implementation, and migration.
Provide engineering analysis support for the following: security-related hardware; software; network component evaluations; security policy; process and procedure determination/evaluation; risk analysis; accreditation package analysis; and engineering change proposal analysis.
Conduct testing for the integration of proposed new technologies to be included in the enterprise design. Develop test-related documentation.
Develop initial system baseline and control system changes for the GNEC AD Operational Configuration Management (CM).
Develop, coordinate, and finalize documentation to ensure the integration of GNEC AD consolidation design within the enterprise. This includes accurate IA documentation of capabilities.
Develop System Design Plans (SDP) and Engineering Implementation Plans (EIP) as required to meet design and implementation requirements.
Provide technical integration support for the implementation of third party or vendor AD migration and management tools and transitional operations associated with GNEC implementation.
Provide operational engineering support to the Project Manager Network Service Center (PM NSC) in the development of the Identity Management solution
Provide expertise in the network structures and the directory service structures currently in place.
Make recommendations and provide solutions to develop a more efficient and reliable enterprise network.
Provide expertise in configuration Management, Asset Management, Directory Services, Metadirectory Services.
