WEB Portal Developer (Apex, HTML DB)

• Defense related Contract Assignment requiring US Citizenship and the ability to clear a Background Investigation
• Five (5) plus years of WEB Based Portal Development experience
• Two (2) plus years of APEX ((Application Express HTMLDB)
• Must have experience and demonstrated skills working with Oracle Database and PL/SQL programming
• Exposure and have worked with Oracle e-Business Suite 11i / 11g b based applications building Web based portals
WEB PORTAL Developer / Programmer contract opportunity with a well known Defense and Aerospace contractor based in Hudson NH. The contractor’s scope of work will revolve in assisting in the implementation of the several operational cost reduction initiatives. The contractor will be responsible for building Web Portals that will replace the front end functionality of the existing Oracle e-Business ERP 11g user interface. The work will revolve around building new applications in Oracle ERP and Oracle Application Express. It will be the consultant’s responsibility to follow the technical documentation provided by the technical lead and complete all the provided requirements before their respective due dates. The candidates work will be reviewed on a weekly basis to ensure quality, schedule and company standards are being followed. The principle duties and essential job functions of the contractor will be:
• Work on technical task related implementations for Oracle Manufacturing related processes specifically in Supply Chain, WIP, BOM, Purchasing and Projects.
• Must have a thorough understanding of Oracle Application Technical Architecture including customizations, APIs and open interfaces.
At the conclusion of the project the WEB PORTAL Developer will have built a new Interface that will greatly enhance the usability of the Supply Chain ERP modules, reduce training costs, save on licensing costs and improve overall efficiency of the Resource Planning users. As currently configured, the contract is approved for July to the end of December. Per the Hiring Manager it is highly likely to be extended through the 1st Quarter of 2011 making this a 7-8 month contract.
