- BS degree
- Minimum 10 years IT exp with 8+ years of relevant experience
Engineering background
- Must have 8 years experience with Windows server platforms, demonstrable experience with Windows 2000/2003/2008 server, and heavy experience in AD, DNS, and LDAP implementations
- Must have experience with Microsoft Exchange server 2000/2003/2007
- Must have experience with Blackberry Enterprise Server 4.1
- Must be familiar with security issues related to Windows servers and their component
- Must have strong OU/GPO monitoring and management experience
- Must have Microsoft Cluster services experience
- Must have Implementation/Migration experience with more than 10,000 users base
General Skills
- Ability to document processes.
- Skilled in interpreting customer requirements and turning them into solutions (functional requirements).
- Must be skilled in communications, both written and oral
- Must be able to operate in a close-knit team environment
- Must be able to work with technical and non-technical staff at all levels
- Federal contracting experience will be a plus
A Senior Architect to design, implement and maintain Active Directory and Exchange Server implementations to leverage internal AD credentials to authenticate against external applications. The Active Directory Architect should have experience in Windows 2000/2003 deployments. From these experiences, the individual should have gained an understanding of how AD fits into the big picture from an enterprise perspective. From a design perspective, the Active Directory Architect needs to be able to make design decisions on all key components of Active Directory, including DNS, forest, domain, sites, OU, etc. and have a clear understanding of the rationale for the deployment of each component.
