Full-time Microsoft Exchange Migration Specialist

at Elite Technical Services in Washington, DC

Qualifications: To qualify the Job Seeker must meet the following criteria:
(1) Must demonstrate strong client management and communication skills to be considered
(2) MS Windows / Exchange Engineering specialist with 5 or more years of practical experience
(3) Previous experience leading MS Exchange migration efforts from 5.5, 2K, and 2K3 to Exchange 2K7
(4) Must be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the use of Quest Software Migration Suite for Exchange
(5) Experienced working with MS Windows based Clustering and Storage solutions. Windows 2008 Clustering
(6) BIG PLUS experience with Double-Take availability solutions


This is a Contract Opportunity for 3-6 months PLUS to complete a MS Exchange 03 to 07 migration project. Our client is a well known company and a major IT Services organization worldwide as well as the DC Metro area. The MS Exchange Engineer migration specialist will be using Quest Software Migration Suite for Exchange. Additional utilities include; Double-Take backup and recover software. The location of the work is Washington DC, with the expectation of being on-site approximately 50% of the week and working from home (remotely) the balance of the time. The consultant will be expected to occasionally report to our client primary location in Ashburn VA. This is a commercial project.
