Material Planner
at Elite Technical Services in Wayne, NJ 07474
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Candidate must pass background and drug test.
• MRP Material/Production Planning in a Government Contract environment
• Experience in ORACLE MRP/ERP System or equivalent planning system
• Microsoft applications Excel, Project
• Requires a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent and a minimum of two (2) years experience in production/material control or a manufacturing-planning environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Requires knowledge of Engineering Resource Planning (ERP) and configuration systems; production and planning tools; inventory; and shop floor control techniques.
• Demonstrated computer knowledge is required including experience with creating charts, graphs, report generation, analytical work with spreadsheets (such as Excel) as well as word processing skills.
• Progression towards American Production Inventory Control Society (APICS) Certified in Production and Inventory Management (C.P.I.M.) certification is preferred but not mandatory.
PURPOSE:
• Plans and schedules the deliveries of raw material, component piece parts and subcontract items to support program material plans and schedules.
• Monitors the status of the flow of material to ensure proper execution of internal assembly and test schedules.
