• 5+ years of field experience with large-scale Cisco and Microsoft enterprise environments
• Candidate must have a CCVP certification and be proficient with:
• Cisco CallManager versions 3.2-4.0
• Cisco Unity versions 3.1-4.0(4)
• Cisco Voice Gateways
• Securing VoIP servers
• Cisco Routers, Switches, and Firewalls
• Networking, TCP/IP
• Routing Protocols
• PSTN Provisioning
• Witness Voice Recording
• Cisco MeetingPlace
• Must have an active Cisco CCNP certification or Higher
• Must understand the Cisco AVVID suite
• Strong Knowledge of Cisco CallManager and Unity is a must
• Must posses a basic understanding of the engineering project lifecycle, experience executing tasks under strict project management and ability to effectively present technical solutions in both written and verbal format
• Must be thoroughly familiar with the architecture and implementation of modern TCP/IP networks with specific knowledge of VoIP, QoS, VPN Tunneling, VoIP Security, IP routing, IP traffic filtering (access lists), DNS, DHCP and the ability to understand Sniffer trace data.
• Must present a balance of technical knowledge, organizational skill, and professional presentation.
• MCSE 2000 or MCSE 2003 certification preferred

Our client has immediate openings for Mid level and Sr. Level VoIP System Engineers having experience with large-scale Cisco and Microsoft enterprise environments for supporting the VoIP transition project for a large federal contract. The primary responsibility of the engineers will require them to bring up VoIP and Data at new locations throughout the DC Metro area under tight deadlines with limited supervision. The positions will report to the Manager of Network Engineering and will have close interactions with Program Management and Clients.
