• Must be US Citizen
• Must be clearable to receive a Public Trust (existing Active Secret or a Public Trust is desired)
• BS Degree
• Six (6) years experience with Windows server platforms, demonstrable experience with Windows 2003 server, and substantial experience with backup systems
• Must have 2 years experience with Windows 2000/2003 Server in an enterprise environment.
• Must be an expert with backup/restore technologies. Demonstrated experience including; architecture, design and implementation of Symantec Veritas NetBackup and BCV integration in an enterprise environment.
• Must be familiar with Storage Area Network (SAN) technologies
• Must be skilled with Active Directory and security issues related to both Exchange and Windows server.
• Must have Implementation Experience i.e., enterprise and hosted Exchange implementations with more than 20,000 users base
• Must be skilled in interpreting customer requirements and turning them into solutions (functional requirements).
• Federal contracting experience will be a plus

• Must have polished and professional interface customer skills
• Must be skilled in communications, both written and oral
• Must be able to operate in a close-knit team environment
• Must be able to work with technical and non-technical staff at all levels
• Must be able to document processes.

This is a 3-6 month PLUS contract with the potential for converting to full time permanent employment. The circumstances of this contract dictate tremendous upside potential and technical growth. Our client has multiple openings for experienced engineers responsible for supporting enterprise backup processes and technology in a large enterprise on a 24×7 basis. Working with our client’s technical service and operations delivery group, this position will be responsible for overseeing the of the backup environment design, installation, support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of the software and hardware to support critical infrastructure for a large Federal client. This environment includes: EMC Clariion and Symmetrix DMX, server disk arrays, associated layer 3 switches, such as Crossroads, Raid, and associated software, Cisco and Brocade switches, and Symantec NetBackup Software all operating in Microsoft Windows.
