- Must be US citizen. Candidate must pass a TSA background (Form SF85) and credit check (Active Secret or TSA Public Trust highly desirable)
- Position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of related experience OR equivalent experience and training
Technical background
- Enterprise desktop migration, deployment, or Image Management experience.
- Experience with software delivery via Altiris Notification/Deployment Server
- Ability to create Altiris collections and policies based off functional requirements
- Altiris Server installation and configuration experience
- Exchange 2000 and Windows 2000 systems administration
- Should be familiar with Windows AD, Group Policy Objects and security settings
- MCP/MCSE Windows 2000 or 2003
- Altiris ACP/ACE certification is a PLUS
- Highly desire candidate with technical writing experience

This is a 3 to 6 month PLUS contract with the potential for converting to full time permanent employment. The circumstances of this contract dictate tremendous upside potential and technical growth. Our client has an immediate opening for an Altiris Engineer to administer and support software installations, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC) remotely using the Altiris toolset based upon the daily business needs and requirements of the customer. Job responsibilities will include: training team members on the Altiris based solutions, creating policies and collections, reporting, software license tracking and requirements development.
