Data Analyst
Description
Data Analyst is responsible for the following tasks with our Vestigate tool:
Data Transformation – Import\export
Create ad-hoc “reports” ( XLS, etc.)
Create Smart Queues for review (using SQL and\or Lucene)
General support (run stored procedures, record cleanup\integrity, trouble shooting, etc.)
Strong Query optimization and tuning skills
Documentation of Processes & Procedures
Automation of common tasks
Training operators to perform common, automated tasks
Auditing data quality & integrity
Work with IT to ensure data integrity during enhancements/deployments
Knowledge and Experience
Strong understanding of relational databases
Intermediate to Advanced SQL Querying Skill
Intermediate SQL programming skills (understand data types and stored procedures)
Intermediate to Advanced Data Transformation Skill
Understanding of document review databases
Understanding of Boolean full text searches
MySQL, Lucene experience a plus
Experience with eDiscovery processes and systems a plus
Supervisory Responsibility
No direct supervisory responsibility.
