Description
Commercial investigations and litigations increasingly rely on collecting, preserving and analyzing vast amounts of data to help tell the whole story. The key to managing such huge volumes is turning the array of data into meaningful information. Our Forensic Technology professionals combine forensic and investigative skills with advanced technology to assist clients and their legal counsel. The Senior Forensic Consultant will conduct advanced computer and network forensic investigation functions relating to various forms of electronic fraud including identity theft, e-commerce fraud, computer intrusion, theft of information, denial of service, cyber crime, internet exploitation, trade secrets, as well as financial fraud investigations as needed.
Essential Functions
Conduct advanced computer and network forensic investigations in a wide variety of formats using a variety of tools, software and utilities as necessary
Provide court testimony
Provide support to the sales team to describe processes and technology capabilities and assist in closing new revenue deals as requested
Work closely with other investigators to share best practices and help develop team standards and procedures
Recommend and implement changes to enhance investigator productivity and performance
Assist in growing forensics line of business through driving billable hours
Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor degree in computer science or related field required; Masters degree preferred
5 years of hands-on technical, computer forensic investigations experience
Courtroom testimony experience
EnCase Forensic Analysis Software certification
Experience with Computer Forensic Tools/Utilities such as Encase, FTK, LinEn, etc
General understanding of Database, Networking, e-Mail, and Systems concepts
Experience with SQL, SQL , Visual Basic/VBSCRIPT, SAS, MS-Access, C , Java, ASP, DOS, Windows, UNIX, and Linux
Working knowledge of the IPRO Suite, Relativity, iConect, Summation, Concordance, and/or other document management and hosting technologies
Experience in professional services firm preferred
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is a plus
Audit, investigations, or federal law enforcement background is a plus
eDiscovery processing familiarity is preferred
Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oral
Must be flexible with the potential travel requirements of client service projects
